From Scarcity to Abundance: My Ongoing Journey of Growth

I used to believe that everything was limited.

Time. Money. Opportunities. Love. Joy.

I thought you had to fight for your place at the table, that if someone else succeeded, it somehow meant there would be less for me. I lived in survival mode, constantly looking over my shoulder, afraid to dream too big because it felt like dreaming was for other people—people with more resources, more support, more luck.

The truth? I didn’t grow up hearing words like “abundance.” I didn’t know that mindset mattered more than circumstances. I didn’t realize that my thoughts could be my prison—or my breakthrough.

But here I am now, slowly learning that abundance isn’t just about money or stuff. It’s a way of thinking, living, and believing that there is more than enough—for me, for you, for all of us.

And I’m still learning.

This isn’t a story with a neat, polished ending. This is the middle of my journey—a testimony in the making. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that growth is messy, but it’s also beautiful.

The Scarcity Years

Scarcity thinking shows up in sneaky ways.

It’s the voice that says:

“You can’t afford to rest.”

“You’re behind.”

“You’re not good enough to do that.”

“No one will help you.”

“It’s too late for you.”

I used to believe those lies. I stayed in relationships too long, worked jobs that drained me, and said “yes” when I really wanted to say “no” because I thought I had to. I thought if I didn’t accept the crumbs, I’d get nothing.

I budgeted in fear, dreamed in limitation, and constantly waited for the other shoe to drop.

Even when blessings came, I would self-sabotage or shrink myself, afraid they would disappear. I didn’t know how to receive. I didn’t believe I was worthy of more.

That’s what scarcity does. It convinces you that you’re stuck, and that there’s no way out.

The Moment Everything Shifted

There wasn’t one big moment. No lightning bolt. No lottery ticket. No fairy tale.

There were just quiet moments of awareness… and decision.

A book. A prayer. A conversation. A breakdown that led to a breakthrough.

I started noticing that some people—despite challenges—lived from a place of peace, generosity, and joy. They gave without fear. They celebrated others without comparison. They showed up fully, knowing they were already enough.

I wanted that. Deeply.

So I started doing the work. Slowly. Clumsily. But consistently.

The Work of Growing Into Abundance

Personal growth isn’t glamorous. It’s not just vision boards and affirmations. It’s soul work.

Here’s what it looked like for me (and still does):

Changing how I talk to myself. I had to stop speaking lack over my life. No more “I can’t afford that.” I replaced it with: “How can I afford it?” or “It’s not in my budget yet, but it’s coming.”

Gratitude—even when it was hard. I started finding abundance in small things. A warm cup of coffee. A kind message. My child’s laughter. Gratitude began to shift my perspective.

Setting boundaries. I realized scarcity kept me overcommitted and exhausted. Abundance taught me that saying “no” protects my “yes.”

Investing in myself. I stopped waiting for permission. I took courses, went to therapy, read, prayed, and connected with women who challenged and inspired me.

Rewriting my story. Scarcity said I had to repeat my past. Abundance says I can rewrite the narrative. I don’t have to be who I used to be.

Trusting God. Abundance isn’t just mindset—it’s rooted in faith. I started to believe that God is not limited. His resources, grace, and favor are unlimited—and I am His daughter.

Still Becoming

I wish I could say I’ve mastered it. But I haven’t.

There are still days when scarcity creeps in, whispering that I’m not doing enough, not earning enough, not moving fast enough. But now I know how to quiet that voice.

Now I remind myself that I don’t have to compete—what’s for me will find me.

I don’t have to hustle for worthiness—I already have it.

I don’t have to fear the future—I’m being led by purpose.

I still have a long way to go. I’m still learning, healing, building. But my life looks and feels different because of the mindset shift from lack to limitless.

You Can Shift, Too

If you’re reading this and you’ve been living with a scarcity mindset, I want you to know this:

You are not alone.

You are not behind.

And it’s not too late to shift.

Abundance isn’t about having it all—it’s about knowing that you’re already whole. It’s not about perfect timing—it’s about showing up, little by little, and believing that good things are possible for you, too.

You don’t need permission. You need belief.

So here’s your reminder:

There is more than enough love, money, success, peace, and joy to go around.

You are not in competition—you’re in your own divine lane.

You can live from a place of abundance, even if you’re still becoming.

Because growth is the most abundant journey of all.

Life Lately: A Gentle Reminder to Grow Where You Are

 Lately, life has felt… different.

Not bad, not necessarily easy — just different.

It’s like I’m standing at this sacred crossroads between who I used to be and who I’m still becoming.

Some days, I feel wildly powerful. Other days, I feel tender and undone.

But every day, I’m learning this: the present moment is enough.

For so long, I lived either in the regret of the past or the rush of the future.

Always chasing the next thing.

Always trying to prove something.

Always wondering if I was “there” yet.

But recently, I’ve realized — life isn’t waiting for me somewhere down the road.

It’s happening right here, in the quiet, in the work, in the little moments no one claps for.

And the truth is, personal growth doesn’t happen in the someday.

It happens today.

It happens in how we show up when no one is watching.

It happens when we choose patience over frustration, gratitude over comparison, grace over self-criticism.

Focusing on the present isn’t about being passive — it’s about being awake.

It’s about rooting yourself so deeply in the now that you stop rushing, stop numbing, stop doubting.

And instead, you build here.

You heal here.

You grow here.

The woman I’m becoming?

She doesn’t need to chase abundance.

She attracts it by being fully present, fully faithful, fully aligned.

Wherever you are right now —

whether it feels like you’re blooming or barely holding it together —

trust that you are exactly where you’re meant to be.

You are not falling behind.

You are not forgotten.

You are not too late.

You are growing. Quietly, bravely, beautifully.

Don’t miss the miracles hidden in today.

Because today is shaping the future you prayed for.

Breathe.

Trust.

Grow.

You are radiant — right now, right here.

The Power of Support in Building a Dream

If there’s one thing I’ve learned on this journey of entrepreneurship, writing, and personal growth, it’s this: success isn’t a solo mission. Dreams may start with us, but they are built with the love, support, and wisdom of those who stand beside us.

When I look at my journey—from my banking career to launching Radiant Dreams Co., from writing Blossoming Into Radiance to now bringing Radiance Within to life—I see one common thread: I didn’t do it alone. There were days I felt exhausted, overwhelmed, or ready to quit. But every time I was on the edge of giving up, I had people who pulled me back in, reminded me of my purpose, and gave me the strength to keep going.

The Role of Support in Personal Growth

Growth isn’t just about what we learn or the habits we build; it’s about the people we allow into our journey. Having a strong support system isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. The right people push you to rise higher, challenge your doubts, and remind you of your worth when you forget.

That’s why community is such a huge part of Radiant Dreams Co. I don’t just want to build a brand; I want to build a movement. A place where women feel empowered to grow, step into their purpose, and surround themselves with the kind of support that changes everything. Because I know firsthand that without the right people in your corner, it’s easy to stay stuck in fear, self-doubt, or procrastination.

The Entrepreneurial Journey: From Idea to Impact

Launching my businesses—whether it’s my notary services, real estate goals, or Radiant Dreams Co.—has come with countless lessons. One of the biggest? Success requires resilience, but resilience is strengthened by support.

There have been moments where I questioned everything. Am I doing the right thing? Will this work? What if I fail? But each time, the voices of those who believe in me—mentors, friends, my son, and even the women I serve—have kept me moving forward. That’s why I always encourage aspiring entrepreneurs to find their people. You need a circle that fuels your faith, not your fears.

Turning Support into Action

Having support is one thing, but how you use it is another. Here are a few ways I’ve learned to lean into my circle while continuing to build my vision:

1. Be open to feedback – Whether it’s refining a book, a course, or a business idea, I’ve learned that constructive feedback is a gift. Surround yourself with people who challenge you to be better.

2. Ask for help – We often try to do everything alone, but growth happens faster when we let others support us. Whether it’s asking for advice, mentorship, or even just an encouraging word, never be afraid to lean on those who want to see you win.

3. Give back to your circle – The best relationships are built on reciprocity. Just as people pour into you, find ways to pour into them. Celebrate their wins, encourage them in their struggles, and be the kind of support you want to receive.

Your Dreams Are Worth It

If you’re on a journey of growth, building something from the ground up, or simply trying to step into your next level, know this: you are not alone. The challenges will come, but so will the breakthroughs. Surround yourself with the right people, stay committed to your purpose, and remind yourself daily that your dreams are worth the effort.

As Radiant Dreams Co. grows, I’m even more committed to creating spaces where women feel seen, supported, and empowered to chase their biggest goals. Because I know that with faith, the right community, and a relentless spirit, anything is possible.

Keep growing. Keep believing. And never forget—success is always sweeter when it’s shared.

Refocusing on What Truly Matters

It’s been a while since I’ve shared my thoughts here, and honestly, that pause was needed. Life has a way of pulling us in so many directions, and sometimes, we have to step back and refocus on what truly matters.

In the past few months, I’ve found myself in a deep season of reflection—one that has pushed me to let go of distractions, realign with my purpose, and trust that God is working behind the scenes, even when I don’t have all the answers. It’s easy to get caught up in the noise of life, chasing goals, and constantly moving forward, but what happens when we just pause?

For me, that pause was necessary. I needed to silence the outside world so I could listen to what God was placing in my heart. And in doing so, I was reminded of something powerful—our worth isn’t measured by our productivity, our achievements, or how much we do. Our worth comes from who we are, and more importantly, whose we are.

The Journey of Writing The Radiance Within

One of the biggest blessings during this time of reflection has been the completion of my new book, The Radiance Within. This book isn’t just something I wrote—it’s something I lived. It’s a story of resilience, faith, and growth. A journey through struggles, setbacks, and the unwavering belief that no matter what we go through, we have the power to rewrite our own story.

This book is for the woman who has ever felt lost.
For the dreamer who has faced disappointment.
For the one who has questioned whether she’s enough.

Because I’ve been there. And I know what it’s like to wonder if things will ever change. But I also know this—God has a way of turning every hardship into something beautiful. And that’s exactly what The Radiance Within is about.

Focusing on What Truly Matters

Life is short. And if there’s anything I’ve learned over the past few months, it’s that we don’t have time to waste worrying about things that don’t align with our purpose. We don’t have time to pour energy into relationships, habits, or mindsets that hold us back. We have to focus on what truly matters—our faith, our peace, our growth, and the people who genuinely love us.

So if you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, lost, or like you’re just going through the motions, let this be your reminder: pause, breathe, and refocus. Let go of what no longer serves you and make space for what God is trying to do in your life.

And if you’re looking for inspiration, I invite you to read The Radiance Within. It’s not just my story—it’s a message of hope for anyone who’s ready to step into their light.

Thank you for being here, for supporting my journey, and for allowing me to share my heart with you. I’m back, and I’m ready for all that’s to come. ðŸ’•

With love,
Claritza
